New WSD Customer Service Manager Makes First Appearance on the Water Line

Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – Shanda Queeley-Hanley, Customer Service Manager at the St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD), made her first appearance on the WSD’s bi-monthly broadcast on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, sharing valuable insights about customer service at the WSD.

In a twenty-minute discussion about the nature of her work and its implications for WSD customers, Mrs. Queeley-Hanley briefed listeners on a range of topics, such as new service requests, billing inquiries, requests to reposition meters, and more.

Addressing the question of what customer service in the context of her leadership is like, Mrs. Queeley-Hanley said:

“I love the practice of good service. Even though $20 might feel like it’s not a lot, we are to offer that service like [customers] are paying a million dollars.”
