Ministry Benefits from Latest Iteration of Customer Service Training

Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – The Ministry of Public Infrastructure, Energy, Utilities and Domestic Transport continued its collaboration with university professor, acclaimed inventor, author and political strategist, Dr. Eustace Arrindell on Monday, July 7, and Wednesday, July 9, 2025.

Staff from the Ministry’s secretariat, the Public Works Department, the Water Services Department, and the Energy Unit met in the conference room of the St. Kitts Electricity Company (SKELEC) in Needsmust for the latest iteration of Professor Arrindell’s customer service training with the Ministry of Public Infrastructure.

Commenting on the utility of the training session, Personnel Officer in the Ministry of Public Infrastructure, Rocksey Liburd, stated:

“The training covered key topics such as effective communication, conflict resolution, and building customer loyalty. It also provided a platform for sharing best practices and learning from one another’s experiences.”

As a native of St. Kitts and Nevis, Professor Arrindell said that he was honoured “to give back” to his country, and he encouraged the trainees to do likewise.
